Rates and hours
- Monday–Thursday: $7 plus tax.
- Friday–Sunday: $10 plus tax.
- Main park office: 8 AM–5 PM daily. Beach, tennis, golf, marina, and other facility hours vary; confirm the specific facility before you go.
- Cabana rentals are separate — booked through Miami-Dade Parks.

Follow the payment instructions posted in the lot. If the signs direct you to PayByPhone, note the zone number nearest your space before opening the app.
Where the parking is
Miami-Dade County lists parking for just under 3,000 vehicles at Crandon Park. The crowd display above is an estimate of how busy the park is, not a count of available parking spaces. Follow signs and staff directions when you arrive.
When to go
The weekly pattern can help compare busier and quieter times, but it cannot guarantee a space or predict a special-event closure. Check the source timestamp and causeway conditions before leaving.
Alternatives when Crandon is full
Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park has separate entry fees: $8 for a vehicle with 2–8 people, $4 for a solo driver or motorcycle, and $2 for pedestrians or cyclists. It is open 8 AM–sunset. Capacity closures can stop all entry, including pedestrians and cyclists, so it is not a guaranteed backup when Crandon is busy.
The Village’s Beach Park renovation notice announces a closure starting September 8. Its project flyer keeps beach access open through the path north of the park. This is an access route, not a promise of public parking. Follow posted parking restrictions.
Parking for special events
Check the event’s organizer for its parking and access plan, then check causeway notices and traffic. Closure times and entry arrangements depend on the specific event; do not assume a recurring race schedule applies to your trip.
