Where this list comes from
Two official sources feed this page. The Village of Key Biscayne calendar publishes every Council meeting, Procurement notice, budget hearing, and Parks & Recreation program at the Community Center. The Key Biscayne Chamber of Commerce calendar covers community events submitted by member businesses — mixers, ribbon cuttings, the Saturday Farmer's Market, parades, member workshops.
We hit both calendars hourly, normalize them into one feed, dedupe events that appear in both (the Village version wins because it usually has the canonical title and time), and sort everything by start time. Each row links back to the original listing so you can see the full description, RSVP, or download to your calendar.
What's missing
A handful of things only show up on private channels and not in either calendar: ranger walks at Bill Baggs, Ritz-Carlton restaurant pop-ups, school events at MAST or KBCS, and most of what gets posted only on Instagram. If you know about one of those, use the submit form above and we'll add it manually. Long-running stuff like the daily yoga classes at the beach also doesn't show up here — those live on instructor pages rather than the civic calendars.
The big ones to plan around
A few KB events draw the whole island. The Fourth of July parade and community BBQ on Crandon and at the Village Green is the largest single-day gathering of the year — expect causeway delays both ways. The KB Lighthouse Run (typically Memorial Day weekend) closes parts of the road network. The Saturday Farmer's Market at the Community Center runs most Saturday mornings — produce, prepared food, a few local vendors. Council meetings are open to the public and stream live on the Village's YouTube channel; the agenda goes up the Friday before.
