Where this list comes from
We read the Village calendar, the Chamber calendar, and the park’s featured upcoming listings. For park events, the detail page must provide a usable date and the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park address before we include it. A broken source is labeled unavailable, not treated as proof that nothing is happening.
We fetch the source calendars when this feed is requested, with an hourly upstream cache. Matching listings are combined only when their identity, schedule, and venue agree, or the match has been reviewed. Conflicting listings stay visible with both source links. All times are Eastern; closure and holiday-hours notices are labeled separately from timed events. Open the original listing before going.
What's missing
This is not an exhaustive calendar. Social-only announcements, private events and recurring schedules may be missing. We do not turn an old poster into a weekly event. Park coverage is limited to its four featured upcoming cards, and events with unverified dates or locations can be omitted. Follow the source calendars for additional listings and late changes.
Before you make plans
Check the date, exact venue, tickets or registration, and the organizer’s latest notice. A title mentioning Key Biscayne does not establish where an event takes place, and a calendar closure notice does not tell us whether a venue has reopened. Historic Virginia Key Beach Park is separate from both North Point Park and the Village’s Beach Park. For a Virginia Key visit, check the park entrance before choosing a route.
